As a host of Channel 9's The Block for over 10 years now, Shelley Craft has seen her fair share of stunning designs. A keen renovator and real estate agent herself, when it came to designing her family's Byron Bay home, she knew that one of the best places to draw inspiration from is the property's natural surroundings.
Noticing that the reserve behind the house is a meeting ground for the local wallabies, Shelley chose COLORBOND® Ultra steel in the colour Wallaby® for the roof of the house. "When you put it altogether it was the perfect fit!" laughed Shelley. The roof is also highly visible with many unusual angles, so a standing seam style profile was selected to showcase the architectural features.
