"COLORBOND® steel is one of the most important elements and features to this home. The main area I have used it for, is the roof. Being exposed to the elements all year round, I needed a material to withstand these elements and our climate here in Australia, all whilst contributing to the thermal efficiency of the home. I have opted for a matt finish and the colour, Surfmist® in a Matt finish will tie in with the rest of the scheme. Following on from the roof, the gutter, fascia and downpipes surrounding the home, will blend in with the roof, as well as the external walls, and will also be in the colour Surfmist® in a Matt finish. Surrounding the property, there will also be fencing - even though I am obsessed with white, I have decided to add in Dune®, as it adds another element to the home."
