The Block house 5 render
COLORBOND® steel on The Block, 2025

This season on The Block, COLORBOND® steel is set to feature roofing across all five houses.

The Block is back in 2025, and COLORBOND® steel continues to be the roofing material of choice for these impressive properties, with all five properties featuring beautiful, strong and durable COLORBOND® steel in various colours and finishes.

Set in Daylesford — a picturesque village at the foothills of the Great Dividing Range and known as the heart of Victoria’s spa country — this year’s location offers a unique regional backdrop for the build.

In a first for The Block, this year's contestants will build their homes from scratch on five ¾-acre blocks, with some surprisingly fast-paced changes ahead. Alongside frames made from TRUECORE® steel, expect roofs made from COLORBOND® steel with a mix of large-span flat roofs and classic gable styles

COLORBOND® steel will be there in a variety of colours and finishes, including:

  • House 1: Monument® Matt

  • House 2: Wallaby®

  • House 3: Surfmist®

  • House 4: Basalt® Matt

  • House 5: Woodland Grey®

There is also an interesting mix of roofing profiles. Houses 1, 3 and 5 which all have pitched roofs, will have a corrugated profile. Houses 2 and 4 with flat roofs will have a trapezoidal profile.
